How does six months of free Apple Music work?
We’ll treat you to six months of Apple Music:
- whether you’re joining EE as a new customer or you’ve been with us for years
- offer available to Consumer customers with EE pay monthly or SIM only phone plans on a 12-month or more minimum term
We’ll cover the data you use for 6 months, so you can stream and download music without using your data allowance.
Apple Music will appear on your bill as an add-on. EE will add £10.99 credit to your bill to pay for it.
To sign up:
- text MUSIC to 150 or
- log in to EE or download the EE app and go to Plan & Add-ons > Add-ons > Get more add-ons
- then follow the instructions we send you
Need to know
Some or all of the data used while streaming content on devices using iOS 15 with iCloud Private Relay switched on will not be zero-rated, as we can't link your EE customer ID to all your activity.
How do I set up Apple Music?
On an iPhone or an iPad
- we’ll text you when your subscription’s about to begin – follow the link for Apple to verify your membership
- if you’re connected to WiFi, you’ll get a PIN to enter in the Apple Music app. If you're not connected to WiFi, go to the next step
- link your Apple ID to your Apple Music membership with your email and password – then you’ll get personalised recommendations and be able to download music to listen offline and on different devices
- once your Apple ID is linked, choose your favourite tracks so Apple Music can make recommendations and then you’re ready to go
On an Android device
- download Apple Music for free from Google Play Store
- we’ll text you when your subscription’s about to begin – follow the link for Apple to verify your membership
- if you’re connected to WiFi, you’ll get a PIN to enter in the Apple Music app. If you're not connected to WiFi, go to the next step
- follow the given link to set up an Apple ID if you don’t already have one – then you’ll get personalised recommendations and be able to download music to listen offline and on different devices

What happens after the free six months?
You’ll be charged £10.99 a month after your free six months.
You might be billed for two Apple Music items in the first month you start paying. One charge is pro-rata for the rest of the billing period and the other is an advance charge for your paid subscription.
What if I already have Apple Music?
You’ll need to cancel your Apple Music subscription before you enjoy free membership with EE. Cancel through the Apple Music app.
What to do if you receive the error "This subscription is being used with another Apple ID"
In some cases, if you have previously had an Apple Music subscription you might see this error message. To fix this, please contact Apple Support and ask to change the Apple ID associated with your Apple Music subscription.
Can I have Apple Music as a chargeable add-on?
You can add Apple Music as a chargeable add-on for £10.99 a month.

Apple Music Membership 6 month offer with data streaming on us
Offer available to customers with Consumer EE pay monthly or SIM only phone plans on a 12 month or more minimum term. Individual Apple Music Membership is free for 6 months and, for 6 months, data used whilst streaming/downloading from Apple Music app whilst in the countries covered by your plan's inclusive data allowance will not be deducted from your plan’s data allowance. You must have some of your plan’s data allowance left otherwise you will be unable to stream/download or use any connected features using mobile data. Some or all of the data used on devices using iOS 15 with iCloud Private Relay or any other VPN service switched on will not be zero rated as we cannot link your EE customer ID to all your activity. This offer is not available to customers with Business Connect or Small Business plans. If you’ve already benefited from one of our six months’ free Apple Music Membership offers or from our standalone Apple Music Data Streaming offer, you’re ineligible for this offer (unless we specifically invite you to benefit from this offer). After 6 months, membership automatically renews and you’ll be charged £10.99 a month for Apple Music and data used whilst using the app will be deducted from your plan allowance. You can cancel at any time. If removed from your account during the first six months, you’ll be unable to get the add-on again free of charge. Requires a handset using either the latest iOS version or Android 5.0 or later. Not available to customers on a 4GEE WiFi or Tablet Price Plan or customers with a handset not using iOS or Android.
