Home Broadband order journey
- Day zero - place your order
You've placed your order for Home Broadband. We'll send you an email to let you know your order is in progress.
- Day three - order confirmation
- Day five - progressing your order
Engineers will be working to connect your line and activate your EE Broadband service.
- Router delivery
If you're new to EE Broadband or you need a new router as part of your order (for example with Fibre Broadband) we'll send you a new Bright Box wireless router, which will arrive on (or just before) your activation day.
You'll get a text message (if you've given us your mobile phone number) and email letting you know when it's on its way, with a link so you can track the delivery.
In most cases, we'll post your router through your letter box, but it's worth looking out for any missed delivery slips.
- Home Phone live
Your Home Phone service usually goes live just before your broadband service. We'll send you a text message when it does.
See our Home Phone help pages for more help with Home Phone call charges and calling features.
- Broadband live
Broadband activation day is the day we turn your broadband on. We'll send you a text message the morning the service is due to go live and another text and email when it does. It could go live at any time up until midnight - you can track your order online from your account online.
Once broadband is live you can set up your new broadband equipment.
- Set up broadband
If you're a new customer, your activation date also becomes the day that we start billing you. As soon as you're online with us you can see your first bill on your account. We'll take your first payment around ten working days later. You'll find more help checking your online bill in our guides below:

- EE TV
If you've signed up for our EE TV service, we'll send your EE TV box five days after broadband is live. We'll send you a text and email so that you can track your order.
