Terms and conditions
Monthly Premium: Your monthly insurance payments are exempt from VAT and include Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) at the prevailing rate. You’ll be told the premium amount (inclusive of IPT) for your device before you buy it and it will be detailed on Your Confirmation of Your Insurance Cover in your welcome pack. If Insurance Premium Tax or any other taxes related to this insurance change, this will affect the amount you pay each month.
Excess: An excess is payable for each successful claim. Discounted excess for screen damage only repair (Eligible mobile phones with only a damaged screen). View current excess bands and amounts.
Worldwide cover: Your policy covers you worldwide with all claims fulfilled when in the UK.
Next day refurbished replacement: Geographical restrictions, bank holidays and exceptional circumstances apply.
Claims limit: We will accept a total number of two successful loss/theft claims in a 12-month period. The 12-month period begins on the date we accept your first claim. There is no limit on the number of successful claims we will accept for accidental damage or breakdown during the period of cover.
Cover for breakdown: If your device experiences a permanent mechanical, electrical, or electronic fault after the expiration of the manufacturer's warranty, this policy covers the cost of repair or replacement. This coverage specifically excludes any damage caused by accidental damage and is applicable only when the device stops functioning normally.
In the first two years, for a fee, you can get a next day refurbished replacement if your device is diagnosed with a fault in the first 24 months from the start of your Airtime Plan contract. This fee will be added onto your Airtime Plan bill. Not available to Apple customers within the first 12 months. Not available to SIM only customers. Battery replacement: Battery replacement is only available where the device is not damaged, and when the capacity of the mobile phone battery to hold an electrical charge is less than eighty percent (80%) of its original specification.
