Set up or change a Direct Debit

Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay your EE bills.

Set up a Direct Debit

  1. Open the EE app
  2. Go to Manage - Bills & Payments
  3. Choose either EE Mobile or EE Broadband.
  4. Scroll down the page and follow the link to set up a Direct Debit.

We’ll send you confirmation that your Direct Debit has been set up. Your payment will be taken on or around 8 days after your bill date.

Want to pay with another account?

If you want to pay with another bank account that's not your own, you'll need to call us on 150 from an EE phone or on 0330 123 1105 from any phone to set it up. Both parties will need to be on the call.

Need more than one signature?

If more than one signature is required on a bank account, you'll still be able to set up a Direct Debit but you won’t be able to set it up online or over the phone.

Instead, you'll need to download, complete and return a copy of the Direct Debit mandate form.

Change your Direct Debit details

  1. Have your new bank account number and sort code to hand.
  2. Open the EE App in your desktop browser
  3. Go to Bills & Payments in the top right of your screen
  4. Choose either EE Mobile or EE Broadband.
  5. Scroll down the page to "Manage Direct Debit" and follow the link to change your Direct Debit details.

Change your Direct Debit payment date

You can change your payment date after you’ve received your first bill.

Because you pay for your services one month in advance, when you change your Direct Debit date, the date we produce your bill will also change. This depends on whether you're bringing your bill date forward or backwards. Once you've changed your Direct Debit date:

  • you’ll see your new payment date, any credits or extra charges broken down on your bill
  • we'll credit you for any service you've already been charged for which falls after your bill date
  • we'll charge you the full month in line with your new bill date going forward

To change your Direct Debit date:

  1. Open the EE App online or on your mobile
  2. Go to Manage then select Bills & Payments
  3. Choose either EE Mobile or EE Broadband.
  4. Scroll down the page to "Change Direct Debit date" and follow the link to change your Direct Debit payment date.
