Changes to our mobile insurance terms

From 1 March 2016 the administration of EE’s mobile insurance products will be carried out by EE Care Services. At the same time, Allianz (the Insurer) will make some changes to the terms and conditions of the insurance cover.
None of the changes affects the cost, the excess or the level of cover. Details of the changes that apply are set out in the below documents, and answers to some common questions are below these links.

What’s happening?

From 1st March 2016 EE Care Services will be the new administrator of your mobile insurance policy. This means that they will handle any claims you make.

How will this impact me?

It won’t. Your level of cover, and the amount you pay will not change. You’ll continue to be offered the same great service. You can still claim, or contact us, by calling 150, or 345 if you’re an Orange Small Business Customer, or 158 if you are a large business customer.

What personal data will be shared?

To allow the uninterrupted administration of your insurance EE Care Services will be provided with details of your insurance policy, address and contact details, and claims history.

How do I find out more about the security and safety of my data?

Your data will be transferred and processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and Allianz’ privacy policy, which you can read here.

I’m happy for the transfer of my data to go ahead, what do I need to do?

Nothing, everything will be taken care of. You’ll experience no difference in your level of cover or service.

I don’t want my personal data transferred, what are my options?

The transfer of your data is required for us to be able to continue to offer you insurance cover. If you don’t want your data transferred, you will have to cancel your insurance.

How do I cancel my insurance?

You can cancel your insurance by calling 150, or 345 if you’re an Orange Small Business Customer, or 158 if you are a large business customer.

Connected World Services Distributions Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Carphone Warehouse Limited. They manage over four million policies across several markets, to deliver a comprehensive mobile insurance solution.

I’m not happy about this change, how can I complain?

You can make a complaint by calling our Customers Services team on 150, 345 if you’re an Orange small business customers, or 158 if you’re a large business customer.
