Next Day Replacement

For a £50 (incl. VAT) fee you can get a next day replacement if your device develops a fault in the first 2 years. (Not available for  Apple products for the first 12 months or SIM only customers.) Geographical restrictions and exceptional circumstances apply.

Excess

You will be charged an excess for each successful claim you make. The amount will depend on which band your device is in on the date your claim is accepted. The maximum you will pay is shown in the table. To find out the band and the excess for your device go to ee.co.uk/excessandcharges

If your device develops a fault you can arrange a next day replacement for a £50 (incl. VAT) fee. Certain devices are not eligible for a fast replacement during the first 12 months, For example, Apple devices are referred to Apple, you’ll have to contact the manufacturer directly.

Some important things to know

If you buy Insurance & Protection with a new device or at an upgrade, you can cancel this insurance at any time with no additional fees or charges. We will refund the part of the monthly premium paid for the number of days after we receive your cancellation instructions.

If you purchase Insurance & Protection at any other time, there is a 3 month minimum term at the start unless you cancel the cover within 14 days.

Full Cover or Damage Cover can be active for a maximum period of sixty months (five years). When you near the end of the sixty month period we’ll contact you to see if you’d like to purchase the product again.

If you upgrade your device your cover will end, and if you change  your Service Plan, you should call us to check your insurance is still in place.

Insurance premiums are exempt from VAT and include Insurance Premium Tax at the current rate. You’ll be told the premium amount before  you buy it, and it will be detailed on Your Confirmation of Your Insurance Cover in your welcome pack. All taxes are included in the above prices.

Our insurance is underwritten by Allianz plc. Breakdown and all other features of Full Cover and Damage Cover will be provided by EE.

Payments

The cost of Full Cover or Damage Cover will be added to your next bill and then every bill each month until you ask us to remove it. You'll see these as separate items on your bill each month.
