If you’ve recently joined EE or just upgraded, you’ll want to keep your new device looking shiny and new.

Should I insure my new device?

Should I insure my new device?

We’d recommend you do – just in case your phone gets damaged, lost or stolen.

We offer two types of insurance:

  • 1

    Full cover

You’re covered for repairs or a replacement if your device is lost, damaged or stolen.

  • 2

    Damage cover

You’re covered for repairs or a replacement if your device is damaged.

We can only insure devices bought directly from us either online, on the phone or in store.

We do insure some SIM only phones, but it depends on the model.

Remember: We can’t offer insurance after your phone is lost, damaged or stolen.

To get insured, either:

  •

add insurance to your plan at the checkout if you’re joining EE, upgrading or adding another device to your plan

  •

call 150 from an EE phone or 07953 966 250 from any other phone if you’ve already upgraded and would like insurance

Can I keep my insurance if I upgrade?

Can I keep my insurance if I upgrade?

No. You’ll need to take insurance for your new device when you upgrade. You can do this by:

  •

adding insurance to your basket if you’re upgrading online

  •

telling us you want insurance when you upgrade on the phone or in store

  •

calling 150 from an EE phone or 07953 966 250 from any other phone after you’ve upgraded

Remember: If you’re an Orange or T-Mobile customer upgrading to an EE plan, you won’t be able to renew Clone Phone Fully Loaded, Tablet Care, or Orange Care.
