What does a PAC code do?

A porting authorisation code (or PAC code), allows you to take your old mobile number with you when you change networks.

You’ll be asked for it if you ask us (or your new network provider) to transfer your number.

How do I get my PAC code from EE?

It’s easy. Either:

  •

call 150 from your EE phone

  •

call 07953 966 250 from any other phone

  •

    or call +447953 966 250 from abroad

We’ll give you your PAC code over the phone. And we’ll text it to you, along with full details of when it expires.

Good to know
  •

your PAC code’s only valid for 30 days

  •

we recommend you use it within 26 days because we can’t transfer numbers at weekends or on bank holidays

  •

if you don’t use your PAC code, your account will stay open and you’ll still be charged for services

  •

if you decide not to use your PAC code but still want to cancel your contract, please let us know
