iPhone 3gs-activate or deactivate data roaming

You can choose whether you want to allow roaming when using Internet connections.

If you deactivate roaming, you cannot use functions that use the Internet if you are out of range of your home network. If you activate roaming, the phone automatically finds another network when necessary. This ensures that you can always use these functions. Please note that it costs more to use the phone in roaming.

Follow these instructions to activate or deactivate data roaming on your Apple iPhone 3GS.

  1. Find Network
    Press Settings
    Press General

  2. Activate or deactivate
Press the box next to Data Roaming
When ON is displayed, data roaming is activated

  3. Exit
Press the Home key to return to standby mode
