Blackberry bold 9790-blackberry messenger and pin


Here's how to use BlackBerry Messenger and view your PIN on your BlackBerry Bold 9790.

Access BlackBerry messenger

  1. Press the Menu key
  2. Then select BlackBerry messenger

Add a contact

  1. In BlackBerry Messenger, on the Contact list screen, press the Menu key
  2. Click Add a Contact
  3. Type part or the entire contact name
  4. Click on the contact
  5. Click OK
  6. If you want to add a custom message to your invitation, type a message
  7. Click OK

Rename a contact

  1. In BlackBerry Messenger, on the Contact list screen, highlight a contact
  2. Press the Menu key
  3. Click Rename Contact
  4. Type a name
  5. Click OK

Delete a contact

  1. In BlackBerry Messenger, on the Contact list screen, highlight a contact
  2. Press the Menu key
  3. Click Delete Contact

Start a conversation

  1. In BlackBerry Messenger, on the Contact list screen, highlight a contact
  2. Press the Menu key
  3. Click Start Conversation
  4. Type a message
  5. Press the Enter key

End a conversation

  1. In BlackBerry Messenger, during a conversation, press the Menu key
  2. Click End Conversation

To view your pin

  1. Press the Menu key
  2. Scroll to and select Options
  3. Scroll to and select Status
  4. The PIN will be shown in the list
