Blackberry curve 8520-restore factory settings


When the factory default settings are restored, all data and settings are deleted and will have to be re-established.

Follow these instructions to restore the factory default settings on your BlackBerry Curve 8520.

  1. Find General Settings
    Press the Menu key
    Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key
    Scroll to Security Options and press the Navigation key
    Scroll to General Settings and press the Navigation key

  2. Restore the factory default settings
    Press the Menu key
    Scroll to Wipe Handheld and press the Navigation key
    If required, scroll to Include third party applications and press the Navigation key to activate or deactivate this function
    When the box next to the menu item is ticked, installed applications will be deleted
    Scroll to Continue and press the Navigation key
    Key in BlackBerry and press the Navigation key
    The default settings are restored
