Blackberry curve 9360-insert SIM card battery and memory card

Before you can use the phone, you need to insert the SIM card and battery.

Follow these instructions to insert the SIM card and the battery on your BlackBerry Curve 9360.

Step 1. Remove the back cover

  1. Turn the back of the phone towards you
  2. Take hold of the right side of the back cover and remove it

Step 2. Remove the battery

  1. Take hold of the top of the battery and remove it

Step 3. Insert the SIM card

  1. Place the SIM card as illustrated in the phone
  2. Slide the SIM card into the SIM card holder

Step 4. Insert battery

  1. Place the battery in the phone (bottom first), aligning the battery contacts with the corresponding contacts in the phone, and press the battery into place

Step 5. Replace the back cover

  1. Place the back cover on the phone and press it into place until it clicks into place

Insert memory card

You can save pictures, video clips etc. in the phone memory or on the memory card

Follow these instructions to insert the memory card

Step 1. Remove the back cover

  1. Turn the back of the phone towards you
  2. Take hold of the right side of the back cover and remove it

Step 2. Insert new memory card

  1. Turn the memory card as illustrated in the memory card holder
  2. Open the memory card catch and slide the memory card into the holder

Step 3. Insert battery

  1. Place the battery in the phone (bottom first), aligning the battery contacts with the corresponding contacts in the phone, and press it into place

Step 4. Replace the back cover

  1. Place the back cover on the phone and press it into place until it clicks into place

Step 5. Activate use of memory card

  1. Press the Menu key twice.
  2. Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key
  3. Scroll to Device and press the Navigation key
  4. Scroll to Storage and press the Navigation key
  5. Highlight Media Card Support and press the Navigation key to activate use of memory card
  6. When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), use of memory card is activated

Step 6. Exit

  1. Press Disconnect
  2. Press the Return key to return to standby mode
