Blackberry torch 9800-set up internet browsing

Follow these instructions to select settings for the internet browser on your BlackBerry Torch 9800.

  1. Find Options
    Press the Menu key twice
    Press Browser
    Press the Menu key
    Press Options

  2. Select settings for warnings
    Press Closing Browser on Escape.Closing Tabs on Exit or Switching to Carrier Network for Streaming Media
    When the box next to a menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated

  3. Select settings for web pages
    Press the following options: Load Images, Enable Javascript, Block Popups, Enable Embedded Media, Auto-Detect Text Encoding
    When the box next to a menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated
    Press the required setting for Default Font Size
    Press the required setting for Default Text Encoding

  4. Select security settings
    Press one of the following options: Accept Cookies, Enable Geolocation
    When the box next to a menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated

  5. Delete browser data
    Press one of the following options: Passwords, History, Cookies, Cache, Pushed Content
    When the box next to a menu item is ticked (V), it is selected
    Press Clear Now

  6. Save and exit
    Press the Menu key
    Press Save
    Press Disconnect
    Press the Return key to return to standby mode
