Blackberry torch 9800-data roaming

You can choose whether you want to allow roaming when using data connections on your BlackBerry Torch 9800.

If you deactivate roaming, you cannot use email messaging, picture messaging and internet surfing if you are out of range of your home network.

If you activate roaming, the phone automatically finds another network when necessary. This ensures that you can always use the functions.

Please note that it costs more to use the phone in roaming. Follow these instructions to activate or deactivate data roaming.

  1. Find Mobile Network
    Press the Menu key twice
    Press Options
    Press Networks and Connections
    Press Mobile Network

  2. Activate or deactivate
    Press While Roaming
    Press On, Off or Prompt

    If you select Prompt:
    If required, press OK

  3. Exit
    Press Disconnect
Press the Return key to return to standby mode
