Htc one x-change network type

You can set the phone to find a network automatically or you can select a network manually.

Follow these instructions to select a network.

  1. Find Network operators
    Press the menu icon
    Press Settings
    Press Mobile network
    Press Network operators

  2. Choose option
    Choose one of the following options:
    Select network manually, go to a
    Select network automatically, go to b

    a) Select network manually
    Press Search networks
    The phone searches for networks within range
    A list of available networks is displayed
    Press the required network
    After a moment the display shows whether you have access to the selected network

    Please note: If you are out of range of the selected network, the phone will not work.

    b) Select network automatically
    After a moment the phone searches for networks within range
    Press Select automatically

  3. Exit
    Press the Home key to return to standby mode

Choose network mode

You can select which network modes the phone can use. This setting determines the data speeds you can achieve.

Follow these instructions to change network mode.

  1. Find Network mode
    Press the menu icon
    Press Settings
    Press Mobile network
    Press Network mode

  2. Select network mode
    Press WCDMA only, GSM only or GSM / WCDMA auto

  3. Exit
    Press the Home key to return to standby mode
