Motorola defy-set an alarm


The phone has an alarm you can set to wake you up or as a reminder of something.

Follow these instructions to set an alarm.

  1. Find Alarm & timer
    Press the menu icon
    Press Alarm & timer

  2. Add alarm
    Press the Menu key
    Press Add alarm

  3. Enter alarm name
    Press Name
    Key in the required description and press OK

  4. Set time
    Press Time
    Press + or - to set the required time
    Press Set

  5. Select alarm tone
    Press Sound
    Press the required setting
    Follow the instructions on the display to select the required alarm tone

  6. Activate or deactivate vibration
    Press Vibrate to activate or deactivate the function
    When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated

  7. Activate or deactivate repeat
    Press Repeat
    Press the required day(s)
    When the box next to a day is ticked (V), the day is selected
    Press OK

  8. Activate or deactivate increasing alarm tone
    Press Volume to activate or deactivate the function
    When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated

  9. Activate or deactivate backup alarm
    Press Backup alarm to activate or deactivate the function
    When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated

  10. Save and exit
    Press Done
    Press the Home key to return to standby mode
