Nokia Lumia 800-take or view a picture


Follow these instructions to use the phone's camera.

Take a picture

1. Activate the camera

  • Press the Camera key


2. Take a picture

  • To zoom in or out:
    • Press + or -
  • To activate the flash:
    • Press the settings icon
    • Press the flash icon
    • Press the Return key to return to the camera
    • Point the camera lens at the required object and press the Camera key to take a picture


3. Choose option

  • You have a number of other options when taking pictures using the phone's camera
  • Press the settings icon
  • Choose one of the following options:
    • Select scene mode, go to 3a
    • Select picture size, go to 3b


3a - Select scene mode

  • Press Scenes
  • Press Auto or the required setting


3b - Select picture size

  • Press Resolution
  • Press the required setting


4. Exit

  • Press the Home key to return to standby mode
  • Press Exit

View pictures and video clips

Follow these instructions to view pictures and video clips.


1. Find camera roll

  • Press arrow right to access the main menu
  • Press Pictures
  • Press camera roll


2. View picture or video clip

  • Go to the required folder
  • Press the required picture or the required video clip
  • Press the Return key to return to the list of pictures and video clips


3. Exit

  • Press the Home key to return to standby mode
