Samsung s5230-clear cache and delete cookies


The cache is a memory which is used to save data temporarily. The cache saves a copy of the web pages you have visited. The next time you connect to a web page the phone retrieves data from the cache.

Follow these steps to clear the cache and delete cookies on your Samsung S5230.

Clear cache

1. Find Settings

  • Press Menu
  • Press Browser
  • Press Settings


2. Clear cache

  • Press Clear cache
  • Press Yes


3. Exit

  • Press Disconnect to return to stand-by mode


Delete cookies

Cookies consist of data placed in the cache. The data can be login information or other information about the choices you have made on a web page. This makes it possible to adjust the contents of the web page to your preferences.

Follow these steps to delete cookies on your Samsung S5230.

Step 1. Find Settings

  • Press Menu
  • Press Browser
  • Press Settings


2. Delete cookies

  • Press Empty cookies
  • Press Yes


3. Exit

  • Press Disconnect to return to stand-by mode
