A: If you want to find out how much you could make selling your old mobile, simply input your make, model or IMEI into the search box on our trade in homepage and pick your device from the results page. Select your device from the list and it will provide you with a quote value. We will send you a pre-paid envelope to put your device in and send it back to us. It’s that easy!
Q: What is an IMEI number? +
A: Your IMEI is a 15-digit number which is unique to your device. This can be found in a few places. - By dialling *#06# from your device - Some devices have 2 IMEIs – please use the IMEI 1
Q: What happens when I sell my phone to EE? +
A: The majority of devices traded in with EE go on to have a second life, either within the UK or in another country. Devices will either be cleaned & polished ready for re-sale or they may need a full refurbishment to bring them back to life. Any devices that are beyond repair, are responsibly recycled – no devices are sent to land fill.
Q: Why should I sell my phone to EE instead of selling it on eBay? +
A: When you trade in your device with EE, it’s a straightforward process and as long as the condition matches what you provided, we will pay the full value to your chosen bank account. We also don’t charge you commission for selling to us. We ensure that your device is securely data wiped before going back into the circular economy. Q: Can I upgrade to a new device and trade in my old one?+
A: Yes, when you upgrade with EE directly, you can trade in your old device at the same time . You can do this instore or over the phone. The trade in value will be applied to your bill as a monthly discount. Alternatively, you can trade in here , to get a BACs payment straight into your account.
Sending your device to EE trade in +
Q: How do I send my device? +
A: During your trade in journey, there are 2 options available to you. We can either send you a prepaid envelope which you can pop your device into. Alternatively, you can print the label off yourself and send in your own packaging. Please note that both options will require you to go to a post office. We recommend asking for a proof of postage for your records. We also recommend paying for additional coverage on devices with higher value.
Q: How should I prepare my device before sending it off? +
A: Before sending your trade in device to us, please make sure that all your data has been saved and backed up. Remove all security features such as iCloud and Google Lock, remove all pins and factory reset your device so that we can process your trade in as quickly as possible. Please also ensure that your device is fully charged.
Q: What do I do if my device is damaged or lost during shipping? +
A: Your device is covered up to a maximum value of £100 using the Likewize free postage label. If you have chosen to print your own postage label, please ensure you package your device adequately to prevent damage in transit. Q: Do I need to send in any accessories with my trade in? +
A: Please don’t send any accessories with your trade in, we only need the device itself. Any accessories received aren’t able to be returned.
Receiving payment when you trade in your device +
Q: How long does it take to receive my trade in payment? +
A: Trade in payments are paid by BACS and we usually make payment within 3-5 days but once your device has been inspected we will email you with payment details.. So if you’re thinking “ I want to sell my phone “ why not start the process today by heading to our homepage.
Q: What payment options do you offer? +
A: When you sell your old mobile to EE, we make a BACS payment straight into your bank account.
Q: How long is my quote valid for? +
A: Your trade in quote is valid for 14 days. If you need a little more time, please email us at eeconsumer.uk@likewize.com and request a seven-day extension. If your device is received after your quote has expired, you will receive a revised offer based on the current mobile trade in value.
Q: Will I always receive the quoted value? +
A: If the device is the same condition as stated on your order & we have received the device within 14 days, then you will received the full quoted value. If the condition of the device differs to what’s included on your order, we will revise the offer we made. Should we revise the offer, we will notify you via email stating the reason for our revised offer – you can then choose to accept the new value or have your device back free of charge.
Q: Who do I contact if I haven’t received my payment? +

Q: Will you return my device? +
A: If for any reason your quote changes, we will notify you by email with details. We will then give you an opportunity to have your device returned free of charge.

Q: How do I Remove a Google account from my device? +
A: Open your phone's Settings app.
Tap Passwords and accounts. If you don't see 'Accounts', tap Users and accounts.
Under ‘Accounts for’, tap the account that you want to remove and then Remove account.
To confirm, tap Remove account and then OK.
If this is the only Google Account on the phone, you'll need to enter your phone's pattern, PIN or password for security.

Q: Do I need to include any accessories with my laptop?+

A: Yes you need to include your laptop charger with your laptop that you are trading in.

Q: How to package my laptop?+

A: 1) Use soft packaging material such as bubble wrap to package your laptop. Ensure all sides are covered with bubble wrap.

2) We then recommend sealing the bubble wrap with tape to stop the laptop from moving. Then package the charger in the manner as the laptop.

3) Then place the devices into a box which is strong enough to survive transportation.

4) Make sure that any space around the laptop in the box is filled with enough bubble wrap to protect it from moving around inside the box.

5) The final step is to print out your label we will send you via email, apply it to the outside of the box and its ready to post at your nearest post office branch! We recommend asking for a proof of postage for your records. We also recommend paying for additional coverage on devices with higher value.
