BAFTA Awards

EE British Academy Film Awards

We’re very proud to support the EE British Academy Film Awards.

Each year, we bring you closer to the big night with backstage interviews and exclusive content - and this year was no different!

What a night it was. A big congratulations to Tom Holland, our EE Rising Star award winner. We also provided many of you with your very own film star BAFTA selfie from the red carpet, with the world's first selfie robot, Roboselfie.

BAFTA fans transported onto the Red Carpet

This year’s BAFTA saw a world’s first on the Red Carpet – EE’s Roboselfie, who snapped thousands of selfies with celebs at a rate of five per second, using photos tweeted in by fans at home.

Thanks to everyone who took part.

Go La La for BAFTA award-winning La La Land

Written and directed by Academy Award® winner Damien Chazelle, LA LA LAND tells the story of Mia (Emma Stone), an aspiring actress, and Sebastian (Ryan Gosling), a dedicated jazz musician, who are struggling to make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts. Set in modern day Los Angeles, this original musical about everyday life explores the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams.
