Fair Usage Policy: Unlimited Plans are for personal, non-commercial use only. We will consider usage above 1000GB/month to be non-personal use and have the right to apply traffic management controls to deprioritise your mobile traffic during busy periods or to move you to a business plan.
Switching broadband should be easy. If you want to switch to EE, just enter your postcode and buy your new plan – and we’ll notify your current provider for you (unless you’re with Virgin Media).
If we’re late when activating your service, or if we miss your engineer appointment, you’ll automatically get compensation.
For more details, visit www.ee.co.uk/autocomp.
If you need a new phone line, we'll let you know while you're making your order, and you can request an appointment for an engineer to install one. We'll be in touch as soon as this has been arranged for you. There will be an installation charge added to your first bill. A standard installation charge will apply.
When and how to switch differs based on your current provider, and the type of broadband you want. For example, switching from Virgin Media to EE will need an engineer visit for a line switch. With EE, your new smart hub router and Quick Start Guide will arrive by post before your broadband switches over.
Our technical support experts are ready to answer any question you may have - that's if you can't find the answers on our comprehensive online help section first.
Yes. Unlimited means unlimited. Customers on any unlimited home broadband plan have an unlimited data allowance. This means you can browse, download, stream videos and play games online without worrying about usage caps or extra costs. For more information check our Traffic Management Policy.
You can switch broadband plans whenever but depending on your provider, you might need to pay a fee if you terminate your contract early.
When switching to EE broadband, we’ll contact your provider for you if you’re on Sky, BT, Talk Talk or Plusnet. If you’re with Virgin Media, we’ll need to get your new line set up first and then you can cancel your current plan directly.
Having good internet is a must. The type of broadband you can get depends more on where you live than your provider, but there are differences in average speeds and, of course, prices. Check your postcode now to see which EE broadband deals are available in your area.
