Add-ons are additional bundles of things like minutes, messages, data or services that you can buy.

You’ll see the add-ons on your bill and they frequently give you better value compared to standard rates. Add-ons can be a one-off payment or spread over the length of your contract.


What type of add-ons can I buy?

These are the add-ons we’ve got for you:

  • Data
  • Roaming
  • Calling abroad
  • Picture messages
  • Minutes for 084 and 087 numbers
  • Music
  • BT Sports

The easiest way to see all of the available add-ons is to log in to your My EE account:

  1. Login to My EE
  2. Go to the Add-ons and Benefits menu.
  3. Select the number you’d like to view the add-ons for from the Device dropdown.
  4. Go to the Get more add-ons section to see the available add-ons.

How do I buy add-ons?

It’s easy to buy an add-on through My EE. When you’ve purchased and add-on we’ll start your allowance immediately.

Using the My EE app

  1. Select Plan & add-ons from the main menu and select the Add-ons tab.
  2. Select Get more add-ons and choose the add-ons you want to buy.
  3. Select ‘Get Add-on’ and then ‘Confirm’ to apply them. 

Using the My EE website

  1. Log in to My EE
  2. Select the Add-ons and Benefits menu.
  3. Select the number you’d like to view the add-ons for from the Device dropdown.
  4. Find the ones you want in Get more ad-ons.
  5. Click Add to apply the add-ons.
  6. Select Yes, add this add-on to agree


How do I manage my active add-ons?

You can check your active add-ons using My EE. Most of our add-ons stay active, until you choose to remove them. To view and remove your add-ons, simply:

  1. In app just access the Add-ons and Benefits menu and select See your add-ons.
  2. On the website access the Add-ons and Benefits menu and select Currently active add-ons section.
  3. Select the add-on you want to remove and choose Remove this add-on
