Can I use BT Sport when I’m abroad?

You can use the BT Sport app to get the latest news and watch sports when you travel to any of the 28 EU member states. If you’re on the free trial, or you’re paying for multiple devices and large screen access, we cover your data use so it doesn’t come out of your plan allowance.

If you’re travelling outside of EU member states, you can only use the app to check the latest news as it's currently not possible to watch any video content.

How do I cancel BT Sport?

If you’re benefiting from the three free months offer, we’ll text you when your subscription is about to end and let you know when you’ll start being charged. We’ll apply this charge monthly until you ask us to cancel the BT Sport app.

You can choose to cancel at any time, here’s what you need to do:

Text STOP SPORT to 150

You’ll then be asked to either:

  • Text STOP LARGE or STOP BIG SCREEN to stop your large-screen service and keep BT Sport access on your mobile only
  • Text STOP SPORT to stop all access to BT Sport
