WAYS TO TOP UP

EE
EE

There are several ways to top up your EE pay as you go phone or mobile broadband.

Topping up your data online: If you run out of data and you try to connect to the internet over EE's network, you'll be directed to online top up. Your phone or Mobile Broadband number will be filled in for you automatically, so you'll just need a credit or debit card.

If you're not connected to EE's network you can still use online top up but you'll need to enter your phone or Mobile Broadband number (you'll find your Mobile Broadband number in the top left corner of the screen that appears in your browser when you're on the EE network.)

You can top up anyone else's credit with online top up too.

With My EE and the My EE app: Just log in to My EE. Register your payment card details and top up will be even quicker next time.

For superfast top ups on your phone, download the My EE app and manage everything on the go. You can download the app by texting APP to 150 from your EE phone.

By text: If you've already registered a credit or debit card in My EE then you can top up your phone by text.

Have your registered card handy and text the following to 150:

The letters CR

The last four digits of your long card number

The amount you want to top up (between £5 and £50 in £5 increments)

The three- or four-digit security code on the back of your card

For example: CR 1234 5 123

The spaces in between are really important, so please remember them. We'll text you to confirm that your top up has worked.

Over the phone: Just call 150 from your EE phone and choose Top up. Then follow the instructions to top up with a registered credit or debit card, or to register a new card.

With an E top up card: When you get your phone or SIM card, we'll also send you an E top up card so you can top up when you're out and about at more than 100,000 shops across the country. Just look out for the green sign.

As we're upgrading our payment system from 3 March 2016, you'll be asked to set up a four-digit PIN code if you already have a registered payment card when you use the automated phone service for the first time. This will make topping up faster and more secure.

This four-digit PIN code will need to be entered before every top-up using this service. If you want to reset your PIN, call 150 free from an EE or T-Mobile pay as go phone and select the options to top up using a credit or debit card.

Call costs

Using our automated phone service is free at any time within the UK, but you'll be charged 25p per call to speak to an agent.

Recurring top ups from EE

Now it’s even easier to make sure you never run out of credit.

Simply tell us how often and how much you want to top up and the card details that will be charged.

You can get credit every week, on the same date every month, or every 30 days.

You’ll get a text when it’s set up, and every time a top-up is made. And if you change your mind, you can change your Recurring Top-Up or even cancel it at any time.

If you have a pay as you go pack, you can set up your account to top up automatically the day before it’s about to renew. So if your pack updates on the 16th, set your top-up for the 15th - then you’ll always have enough credit for it to start again.

You don’t even need a UK bank account. If you’re travelling in the UK, you can set up a Recurring Top-Up with a card from abroad.

To set up Recurring Top-Ups, log in to My EE, call 150 or text REC to 150.

The legal bit:

We’ll keep taking your Recurring Top-Up until you tell us to stop. EE only refunds unused credit in limited circumstances, see ee.co.uk/terms for details. If you don’t use your phone to call, text or for data for 90 days, we’ll suspend your Recurring Top-Up until you use your phone again. If you don’t use your phone at least once every 180 days, it will be disconnected: your number and any credit on your account will be stopped.

Using an E-voucher

An E-voucher is a card or receipt printed with a unique 16-digit voucher number.

You can get them from EE stores and over 100,000 shops around the UK, anywhere you see the top-up logo.

EE vouchers can be used to top up Orange and T-Mobile pay as you go accounts.  E-vouchers for EE accounts are valid for six months. E-vouchers for Orange and T-Mobile accounts are valid for one month.

Top up with an E-voucher:

By phone

Call 150 from your EE phone, you'll be presented with options to follow and instructions to top up.

We’ll text you to confirm that your top-up has been added to your phone.

By text

Text VO followed by the 16-digit voucher number to 150 e.g. VO 1234567891234567
