An eSIM is an electronic SIM.

An eSIM is embedded in a device so that it can’t be removed – but it works like a traditional SIM card. It includes all the data you need to connect to the EE network.

If you have a dual SIM phone – with both a SIM card and an eSIM – you can have two numbers on the same phone.

How do I get an eSIM?

If you have a Dual SIM phone with EE Business, there are three easy ways to get a new or replacement eSIM for your device:

  • Order an eSIM from My EE
  • Order an eSIM from an EE store
  • Give us a call to order your eSIM:
    • Up to 100 employees – 0800 956 6100
    • 100+ employees – 0800 079 0888

How do I set up an eSIM on an EE Business phone?

It’s simple to set up an eSIM.

First we’ll send you an eSIM card with a QR code.

Then just scan the QR code using your Dual SIM device.

When you do, we’ll set up the eSIM on your device for you.

Scanning the QR code sends us all the information we need to securely add your eSIM to your phone.

Can I move an existing line to an eSIM line?

Yes, you can move an EE Business number to an eSIM.

First set up your eSIM on your Dual SIM EE Business device.

Then give us the SIM serial number from your eSIM card pack at www.ee.co.uk/simswap or at an EE store.

We’ll send a PIN verification to your old SIM so you can swap the number to your eSIM.

If you’re not able to use your old SIM, you’ll need to call 150 from your EE phone so we can swap the number to your eSIM for you.
