4GEE on the go helps speed-up building projects while improving
customer service and sustainability

Customer's challenge

East London-based architect firm Cityscape works on projects ranging from house extensions to hotels and offices. Sabina Begum, Principal Senior Consultant, needs ready access to drawings and plans when she’s visiting clients or project sites.

Her old 3G connection was too slow and unreliable to download them while out and about, so Sabina had to pre-load documents onto her tablet or print them before leaving the office. “It was a constant nuisance. We had to find a more efficient mobile service,” she says.

Our solution and its value

Now, with 4GEE, Sabina can download big data, such as PDFs and image files, from the cloud to her smartphone in an instant. When she needs a larger screen for document display, she tethers the phone to her tablet. She is also able to amend plans onscreen, and upload changes in real time.

“As well as the convenience of instant access wherever we are, 4GEE also means we can pretty much run a paperless office,” says Sabina.

Cityscape has seen other benefits, too. For example, downloading weighty documents from council websites means client requests can be checked on the spot against previous planning decisions. In turn, this avoids the need to go back to the office to recheck details and allows Cityscape to provide a more responsive service.

“With 4GEE, our business is more mobile, efficient and sustainable. And we’re saving money on paper and printing too,” says Sabina.
