Capacity: Available space is less and varies due to many factors. A standard configuration uses approximately 12GB to 17GB of space, including iPadOS 15 with its latest features and Apple apps that can be deleted. Apple apps that can be deleted use about 4.5GB of space, and you can re-download them from the App Store. Storage capacity is subject to change based on software version, settings and iPad model.

Apple Arcade: Apple Arcade requires a subscription.

Apple TV: Apple TV+ requires a subscription.

FaceTime: FaceTime calling requires a FaceTime-enabled device for the caller and recipient and a Wi‑Fi connection. Availability over a mobile network depends on network provider policies; data charges may apply.

The legal bit

BT Sport app
The app is made available to pay monthly customers on Essential handset, SIM only phone and tablet plans as a 30 day rolling Add-On. If you’re a 4GEE WiFi customer, including SIM Only, you’re not eligible for the Add-On. To use the app customers must have a smartphone or tablet containing an EE SIM. All devices must use Android 4.3, Windows 10 or iOS 8 operating systems. Some in-app functionality is restricted on Windows 10. The Add-On costs £5 a month. To use the app you’ll need a TV licence for the household registered to your EE account. BT Sport is for your personal, non-commercial use in the UK. You must not attempt to share, edit or adapt the content made available to you. It’s your responsibility to ensure that content accessed by under 18s is suitable for those viewing it. Content available via the app may change from time to time. When you download and use the BT Sport app, you will use data that may decrement from your price plan’s inclusive allowance.

BT Sport casting
BT Sport casting is a 30 day rolling Add-On that allows you to cast content from the BT Sport app onto digital media players such as televisions or watch on a lap top or other device that does not have an EE sim. If you have BT Sport casting, data used whilst in the UK when watching sports matches and events live or on catch up using the BT Sport app will not decrement from your plan’s data allowance. You must have some of your plan’s data allowance left or you will be unable to watch sports matches or events on the BT Sport app using mobile data either live or on catch up. You will not be able to cast from Windows devices. To use BT Sport casting you will need access to a computer or a Google Chromecast or Apple TV. EE does not provide the Google Chromecast or Apple TV as part of the Add-On. The Add-On costs £10 a month. You will also have to pay £5 a month for access to the BT Sport app if this is not included in your price plan Three months free Available to customers on consumer and small business plans requesting the BT Sport Add-On for the first time. If you’ve previously benefited from our six months’ free offer, you won’t be eligible. The Add-On is available for three consecutive months. The three months starts as soon as we receive your request for the Add-On or from the date you join or upgrade your price plan. If the Add-On is removed from your account at any point during the three month period, you’ll be unable to get the Add-On again free of charge. At the end of the free period, you’ll be automatically charged for the Add-On but can cancel at any time. The offer is non-transferable.
