My Home Hotspot has lost its connection and the Data light is off. How can I reconnect?

Before trying to reconnect your extender to your home set up, first try switching it off and back on again to see if this resolves the issue. If the data light still hasn’t come back on after a couple of minutes, follow these simple steps:
  1. 1

Make sure your Broadband Extender or Home Hotspot is plugged directly into a power socket

  2. 2

Press the Link button on the extender for five to eight seconds. Wait for the power light to go back to steady green

  3. 3

Once you’ve done that, press the Link button again, this time for one second.

  4. 4

Within two minutes, press the Link button on one of the Broadband Extenders already in your home for one second to complete the connection to the network. The power and data lights should come on, indicating you’re now connected.
