Buffering can cause your on demand content to pause or break up – you might see a circling spinning symbol on your screen.

Check your WiFi quality

Go to TOOLS & HELP > STATUS. Above 60% is OK. If it’s lower, you can try to improve your WiFi performance

Check your broadband speed

Check other on demand services

Try using other on demand channels on your EE TV. If other services are working fine, there may be a temporary problem with the on demand channel you're trying to use.

Try rebooting your EE TV and router

Try switching off then unplugging your EE TV from the mains. Wait 30 seconds before plugging it back in and switching on again. Still not working? Try doing the same with your router.

Basic checks
  1. turn the volume up on both your EE TV remote and your TV remote

  2. make sure your TV isn’t on mute

  3. check the HDMI cable is securely plugged into your EE TV and TV

  4. if you have a surround sound system, check that too

Switch off and on again

Unplug your EE TV and your TV. Wait 30 seconds then plug everything in and switch on again.

    Press MENU on your EE TV remote

    Use the arrow buttons to go to TOOLS & HELP > SETTINGS > SOUND & PICTURE > AUDIO OUTPUT MODE

    Choose BEST FIT, or if you have a home cinema set-up, try HOME CINEMA or DIGITAL STEREO

    Press OK

If you're still having problems you can try restoring your EE TV default settings:

  1. 1

    Press MENU on your EE TV remote

  2. 2

    Use the arrow buttons to go to TOOLS & HELP > SETTINGS > ADVANCED SETTINGS 

  3. 3

    Enter you PIN

  4. 4

    Press Reset settings, then CONTINUE 

  5. 5

    Your EE TV settings will reset to default settings and the box will restart

  6. 6

    After about a minute, you'll see the WELCOME TO EE TV page

  7. 7

    You can now follow the onscreen instructions to set up your EE TV.
