If you're leaving EE to switch to a new provider, you'll need your PAC code to take your number with you. Alternatively, if you're new to EE and want to keep your number from your old provider, you'll need a PAC code from them to use your old number with us.

A Porting Authorisation Code (PAC) allows you to take your old number with you when you change service providers. You'll be asked for your PAC when you want to transfer your number either to us from your old provider or from us to a new provider.

To request a PAC from us free of charge:


    text PAC to 65075


    log in to My EE and go to Menu > Account settings > Leave EE

Good to know:

If you have multiple numbers on your account, you can only do this by logging into your online account or by calling us.

After you request a PAC, we'll send you a text message straightaway with your PAC. This text will also contain Switching Information and a link to your online account.

Our Switching Information will provide you with details on what charges you'll have to pay if you're terminating your contract with us before your minimum term ends.


Your PAC is valid for 30 days.

If you do not use your PAC within that time, your account with us will stay open and you'll be charged for our service as normal.

No, you can get your PAC free of charge.

However, please be aware that if you leave EE before your plan ends then early cancellation charges may apply as well as any remaining Add to Plan charges.
