BT Sport ID003 Error Code Help

ID003 Error Code – this means that access to the BT Sport app isn’t active on your account. Here’s what to do:

  •  

    if you’ve recently registered for BT Sport and created a BT ID, you should have received an email asking you to activate your BT ID. Make sure you’ve clicked the pink ‘Activate your BT ID’ button. Don’t forget to check your email account’s spam or junk folder, just in case 

  •  

    if you’re a BT customer and you already have a BT ID, you’ll need to complete an extra step once you’ve clicked through the activation link – confirming your mother’s maiden name and security question

  •  

    once you’ve done this, you’ll need to wait for at least 10-15 minutes for your BT Sport account to fully activate before you can log in to the app, and it can take up to 24 hours, so please be patient

  •  

    if you’re still seeing this error message after 24 hours, call us on 07953 966250 as there may a problem with your account

  •  

    DO NOT try to create another BT ID username and password while you're seeing this error code – it may cause further problems

If you’ve already had access to the BT Sport app but are now seeing this error code, your EE billing account may have been suspended or cancelled. If so, call us on 07953 966250.
