ID003 error code

ID003 error code

Important:

DO NOT try to create another BT ID username and password while you're seeing this error code – it may cause further problems.

If you see the ID003 error code while using the BT Sport app, this means that access to the BT Sport app isn’t active on your account. Try these steps to fix the issue:

Step 1
You need to ensure you've set up your BT ID:

  1.

    text SPORT to 150

  2.

then click the link to http://bt.com/eesport

Step 2
If you've never had a BT ID, you'll be asked to set one up and create a password. You can use this BT ID to log in to the BT Sport app about 10-15 minutes after sign-up.

Step 3
If you already have a BT ID (this will be your email address), you'll not be asked to create a password in the sign-up process for the BT Sport app. Instead you'll receive an email from BT with instructions to link the BT Sport app to your existing account.

Once you've followed the instructions in the email, you'll need to wait at least 10-15 minutes for your BT Sport account to fully activate before you can log in to the app. Your BT Sport account may take up to 24hrs to activate, so please be patient.

Step 4
If you've followed the steps above and you're still seeing this error message appear, you'll need to call us as there may be a problem with your account:

  1.

    call 07953 966 250 from any phone

Step 5
If you’ve already had access to the BT Sport app but are now seeing this error code, your EE billing account may have been suspended or cancelled. You'll need to:

  1.

    call 07953 966 250 from any phone

Good to know:

If you've forgotten your BT ID password, you can retrieve or reset it through the BT Sport app or by visiting the BT website.

CF001 or CF002 error code

CF001 or CF002 error code

These error codes are normally caused by app configuration issues. Try closing the app and opening it again. If this doesn't work, uninstall the app and reinstall it again.

NCE-001 error code

NCE-001 error code

This error code means that you've already registered for BT Sport in the past or your EE mobile number is linked to another BT account. You may also see this error code when porting a BT mobile number over to EE and the transfer hasn't completed yet.

If you think you've successfully set up your BT ID, try logging in to the BT Sport app.

If the BT Sport app doesn't work:

  1.

call 150 from your EE phone

  2.

or call 07953 966 250 from any phone

NCE-003 error code

NCE-003 error code

This error will show if you've requested a validation PIN too many times. You'll need to wait until the next day before you can request a new validation PIN again.

If you don't receive a validation PIN, make sure you've entered the correct phone or tablet number in the first step of the set-up process. If you still don't get a PIN:

  1.

call 150 from your EE phone

  2.

or call 07953 966 250 from any phone

If you receive your validation PIN but it's not approved, you'll need to make sure your browser isn't timed out. If you're still experiencing problems then open a separate browser on another device and set up your BT ID again by taking the link we sent you via text message and putting it directly into the address bar of your browser.

NCE-004 error code

This error means the number you entered in the first step of the set-up process wasn't recognised as a valid EE phone or tablet number. Please check that you're entering the correct EE phone or tablet number and begin the set-up process again.

NCE-005 error code

NCE-005 error code

Your BT ID hasn't finished linking to your BT Sport service which means it's not ready for you to use yet. Please be patient and try the BT Sport app again shortly.

VCO11 error code

VCO11 error code

This error code can mean there's a problem with accessing the BT Sport channels or with playing back a video in the app. This may be caused by a problem with your device and WiFi connection or because you're not fully logged onto a WiFi hotspot.

  1.

check your internet connection by trying to load a new web page

  2.

if you're using WiFi, check you've entered the correct WiFi password and logged into the internet - some public networks have a two-stage log in

  4.

log out of the BT Sport app, restart it and then log back in again

Error VC011 may also occur if you use data compression apps. We recommend that you try uninstalling any data compression apps you have on your device.
