ID003 error code

ID003 error code

There are two reasons why you might get this message: 

  1.  

    If you’ve recently signed up for BT Sport on EE, you need to make sure you’ve setup your BT ID. Go to http://bt.com/eesport to check

     

    After setting up your BT ID, you'll need to validate the email that we send you by clicking on the link (please check your junk folders for the email). There may be a delay with your BT Sport subscription activating after set-up. Please wait up to 24 hours  for your account to fully activate

     

  2.  

    Your BT Sport account may have been suspended or ceased, in which case you’ll need call us:

     

  1.  

    call 07953966250 from any phone

If the BT Sport app still doesn’t work after making sure you've set up your BT ID you’ll also need to contact us:

  1.  

    call 150 from your EE phone 

  2.  

    or call 07953966250 from any phone

ID001 error code

ID001 error code

This error code will show if you've tried to log in to BT Sport but you've used the wrong username, password or both. You’ll need to follow the link on the BT Sport App to reset your username or password.

If you’ve re-joined BT Sport

If you’ve just re-added BT Sport in the last month and you’re getting error code ID001 go to:

  1.  

    bt.com/eesport to reactivate your account – you’ll need to do this on your mobile

  2.  

    or text SPORT to 150 on your EE phone to add BT Sport to your account

ID006 error code

ID006 error code

This error code will show if there's a problem with your BT Sport account and it means you'll need to reset your password:

  1. 1

    go to www.bt.com/mybt 

  2. 2

    log in with your existing BT ID (username) and password - you'll be asked to reset your password

  3. 3

    then log into the BT Sport app with your BT ID and new password

If the BT Sport app still doesn't work:

  1.  

    call 150 from your EE phone

  2.  

    or call 07953 966 250 from any phone

CF001 or CF002 error code

CF001 or CF002 error code

These error codes are normally caused by app configuration issues. Try closing the app and opening it again. If this doesn't work, uninstall the app and reinstall it again.

NCE-001 error code

NCE-001 error code

This error code means that you've already registered for BT Sport in the past or your EE mobile number is linked to another BT account. You may also see this error code when porting a BT mobile number over to EE and the transfer hasn't completed yet.

If you think you've successfully set up your BT ID, try logging in to the BT Sport app.

If the BT Sport app doesn't work:

  1.  

    call 150 from your EE phone

  2.  

    or call 07953 966 250 from any phone

NCE-003 error code

NCE-003 error code

This error will show if you've requested a validation PIN too many times. You'll need to wait until the next day before you can request a new validation PIN again.

If you don't receive a validation PIN, make sure you've entered the correct phone or tablet number in the first step of the set-up process. If you still don't get a PIN:

  1.  

    call 150 from your EE phone

  2.  

    or call 07953 966 250 from any phone

If you receive your validation PIN but it's not approved, you'll need to make sure your browser isn't timed out. If you're still experiencing problems then open a separate browser on another device and set up your BT ID again by taking the link we sent you via text message and putting it directly into the address bar of your browser.

NCE-004 error code

NCE-004 error code

This error means the number you entered in the first step of the set-up process wasn't recognised as a valid EE phone or tablet number. Please check that you're entering the correct EE phone or tablet number and begin the set-up process again.

NCE-005 error code

NCE-005 error code

Your BT ID hasn't finished linking to your BT Sport service which means it's not ready for you to use yet. Please be patient and try the BT Sport app again shortly.

If you haven't added BT Sport to your account:

  1.  

    text SPORT to 150

NCE-006 error code

NCE-006 error code

This indicates that your EE account may be suspended or cancelled.

If this is the case, you'll need to speak to EE directly:

  1.  

    call 07953 966 250

VC001 or VC024 error code

VC001 or VC024 error code

These error codes normally appear when you're trying to watch live channels or videos via the BT Sport app. Try logging out of the app and then logging back in again.

This will clear any previous sessions and should fix the problem.

VC005, VC013 or VC014 error code

VC005, VC013 or VC014 error code

These errors appear when you're trying to watch a video or channel in the BT Sport app. Playing the video or channel again will usually fix this but if not you can:

  1.  

    check the BT service status page (on the TV tab) to see if there are any known problems affecting the BT Sport service

  2.  

    log out of the BT Sport app, restart it and then log back in again

  3.  

    check your internet connection by trying to load a new web page

  4.  

    if you're using WiFi, check you've entered the correct WiFi password and logged into the internet - some public networks have a two-stage log in

  5.  

    uninstall the BT Sport app and then reinstall it

If you see the error code VC005, you'll need to ensure all clock settings on Apple iOS devices are set to default 24-hour time. To set your clock settings:

  1.  

    log out of the BT Sport app

  2.  

    go to Settings > General > Date & Time

  3.  

    select 24-Hour Time as ON

  4.  

    log back into the BT Sport app

VCO11 error code

VCO11 error code

This error code can mean there's a problem with accessing the BT Sport channels or with playing back a video in the app. This may be caused by a problem with your device and WiFi connection or because you're not fully logged onto a WiFi hotspot.

Try these steps to fix the issue:

  1.  

    check your internet connection by trying to load a new web page

  2.  

    if you're using WiFi, check you've entered the correct WiFi password and logged into the internet - some public networks have a two-stage log in

  3.  

    some public networks (hotels, etc.) limit the bandwidth available for video - test this by checking if you can watch a video on YouTube

  4.  

    log out of the BT Sport app, restart it and then log back in again

Error VC011 may also occur if you use data compression apps. We recommend that you try uninstalling any data compression apps you have on your device.

Errors starting (diva_error_...)

Errors starting (diva_error_...)

These errors appear if your WiFi or mobile connection isn't fast enough to load the enhanced video player. Please check your WiFi or mobile connection then try again.

‘There are no events to show’ error message

‘There are no events to show’ error message

This error message will show on Apple iOS devices.

If this error shows and there are no programmes in the "Watch Now" part of the BT Sport app, you'll need to ensure all clock settings are set to default 24-hour time:

  1.  

    log out of the BT Sport app

  2.  

    go to Settings > General > Date & Time

  3.  

    select 24-Hour Time as ON

  4.  

    log back into the BT Sport app

If you're streaming via 3G, you'll need to enable mobile streaming with the BT Sport app settings. You can find Settings in the main menu of the BT Sport app.
