If you’re joining EE or upgrading in-store, our team will be there to help you set up your BT Sport subscription.

If you’re already an EE user, the easiest way to get set up is to text SPORT to 150 or 07953 966502 if you’re a pay monthly connected tablet customer.

You'll need a BT ID username and password to log into the BT Sport app.

Text SPORT to 150 and we’ll send you a set of instructions, including a link you’ll need to click, in order to get set up underway.

Here’s a walk-through of the steps to follow if you don’t have a BT ID already:

Step 1: Follow the link at the bottom of the final text message to get started.

Step 2: Enter your EE phone/tablet number and postcode. Find the phone number associated with your tablet's SIM.

Step 3: You’ll receive a PIN in a text message. Enter the 4-digit PIN on the validation page and hit 'Continue'.

 

 

Step 4: You'll arrive on a page that needs some personal details, including your address and a future security question. Your email will be your BT ID username. 

Step 5: Enter the password you'd like to use. It should be eight characters or longer and include letters and numbers.

Step 6: Your information will appear summarised.

Step 7: You'll receive an email asking you to activate your BT ID. Click the ‘Activate your BTID’ to complete the final step of registering.

Step 8: Enter your new BT ID username and password.

 

Step 9: Choose the relevant app store to download the BT Sport app to your device.

Step 10: Enter the BT ID username you've just set up and the password you've just chosen.

Step 11: You can now enjoy all the sporting action the BT Sport app has to offer!

If your landline or broadband is with BT, you can still benefit from the BT Sport app as you’ll already have a BT ID. Just text SPORT to 150 and follow the steps below to get set up.

Step 10: Download the BT Sport App in your device’s appstore.

Step 11: Enter your BT ID username and password in the BT App.
