Yes, your mobile phone number will not change – it just means you can use it across any of your compatible Apple devices.

You can use up to five Apple devices.

Can I start a call on one device and transfer it to another?

Yes, you can start a call on one of your paired devices like your iPad and transfer it to your iPhone whenever you need to by making sure the correct setting is on in your device settings.

Depending on the type of calls you make, you will either be charged at the rate on your mobile plan or it will come out of your allowance.

Will using EE smart number technology on my paired devices use up my data allowance?

If your paired device is on a EE data plan, then you don’t need to worry about your data being used as it doesn’t use data on the EE network. But if you’re using our smart number technology on another network, or on WiFi, it will use a small amount of data like 10MB for a 30 minute call.

No, as WiFi calling isn't available when you’re outside of the UK, but if your paired devices are still in the UK, they will ring as normal when your phone is called.

If they make calls to premium rate or international numbers, you’ll be charged at our standard rates and charges on your next bill.
