That’s why we’ve put together a package of perks exclusively for NHS workers. You can stay connected even after your data runs out, enjoy discounts for you and family or friends, and get priority repairs when you need them.

 

It’s our way of saying thank you.

 

The offer will be available to new and existing customers from 7 July 2021.

  1. NHS data offer: we'll make sure you always stay connected, at no extra cost, even after your high-speed data runs out. 

  2. Family and friends discount: enjoy discounts for you and your loved ones with free access to EE Perk. Get 20% off the price of a monthly plan for you and up to four friends or family members. 

  3. Priority repairs: if your phone breaks we'll fast-track it to our repair centre, where it'll be fixed in 7 days instead of the usual 14. Call 150 to arrange a courier collection or pop into an EE store.

To be eligible for the NHS offer, you must have the following:

  1.  

    an EE pay monthly SIM only or mobile phone price plan

  2.  

    an NHS email address, registered in the NHS Portal

  3.  

    NHS photo ID (if you don't have an NHS email address)

If you are an existing EE customer who took advantage of the free unlimited data offer, you will be moved over to the new NHS offer on your first bill after August 2021. You will receive the data offer and qualify for priority repairs.

We will contact you about the change in July and confirm when it has happened via text message.

If you are not already getting a 20% Friends and Family discount, you can apply when you upgrade via the NHS Perk portal.

Only a defined set of NHS email domains are eligible for this offer.

If you don't have an NHS domain, you can sign up for other EE perks via perk.ee.co.uk

What can I use the NHS data offer for?

What can I use the NHS data offer for?

You’ll be able to use your device for things like banking apps, browsing the web, checking and sending emails, and using apps such as WhatsApp, Spotify and Google Maps. Downloading large content files and streaming video in HD may not work as well.

When using your offer data, the speed is capped at 2Mbps for both uploads and downloads. To get back to full speed you can purchase more data or wait until your bill cycle refreshes.

Good to know

We’ll text you when you’ve used 80% of your data. And then again when you've used all your full-speed data and the NHS data offer has been turned on.
