You may be invited by text message to redeem a free top-up reward. This could be free credit, free minutes, free texts and/or free data.

You will need to reply to the text message with the keyword (e.g. YES) to redeem this offer. You must reply with the keyword within the offer window detailed in the text message. Once you’ve replied within the offer window, the offer will be automatically applied. It may take up to ten minutes to be applied, but you’ll get a confirmation text once it’s on.

All the offers are different. The text message will detail the validity of the offer.

You’ll receive a text message from us detailing the offer and what you need to do to claim it.

You will have received a text message confirming it was added. You can also text AL to 150 and that will show if the offer is on your account, or check in My EE.

Free allowances can be used for calls and texts:

  1. from the UK to UK mobiles and UK landlines starting with 01, 02 and 03

  2. when in the UK or EU

  3. to EU mobiles and landlines when roaming in EU

Free data can be used in the UK and EU.

Free credit can be used for calls, texts and buying add-ons and packs. Just remember, if you’re buying packs and add-ons, you’ll need to read the relevant terms and conditions beforehand. 

Please note: free minutes and texts cannot be used to call or text internationally or to call international mobile numbers in the UK.

Yes, any free credit can be used like normal credit – to make a call or send a text, and to buy add-ons or packs. You just need to spend it before it expires.

Only customers who were invited are allowed to redeem the offer. If this is you, then make sure you also replied within the offer window.

If you received the text message detailing the offer and opted in within the specific time period and still didn’t get the offer please contact us.

Free Minutes, Texts and/or Data 

Free minutes and texts are from the UK to UK mobiles and UK landlines starting with 01, 02 and 03 (excluding Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man). Free allowances, including data, can also be used when you are abroad in selected European countries. See the full list of eligible countries.

Please note: free minutes and texts cannot be used to call or text internationally or to call international mobile numbers in the UK.

Unless we tell you otherwise, free allowances, once redeemed, last up to seven days (the 'Validity Period'). If you don’t use your free allowances within the Validity Period, you’ll lose them. If you have a pack, add-on or another allowance of any kind on your account, your usage will be deducted from the allowance due to expire first. Unlimited data allowances are for your personal and lawful use only.

Free Credit 

The credit is for your personal use only. Once redeemed the credit will last up to seven days, unless we tell you otherwise. If you don’t use your credit within this time, you’ll lose it.

Available to pay as you go customers invited to redeem an offer by us via text message. All information and redemption instructions we provide in your text message will form part of the terms and conditions.
