How do I book my thermostat installation?

If you’ve bought Hive Active Heating thermostat with installation, this will be installed by British Gas. They'll text you to confirm your appointment, and your engineer will bring your Hive Hub and Receiver with them on the day of installation.

To book your installation appointment you just need to follow a few simple steps:

  1. 1

    visit the installation booking portal at hivehome.com/install

  2. 2

    enter the code found on the leaflet you received with your thermostat

  3. 3

    choose your appointment date

Your appointment will be confirmed by Hive via email.

Hive will confirm your appointment via SMS and will offer an option to re-arrange.

If you bought your Hive Active Heating with installation:

  1.  

    you have 14 days to return your smart thermostat via the same method you purchased it – as long as it hasn’t been installed

  2.  

    installed smart thermostats are not eligible for a refund

  3.  

    if your smart thermostat is faulty, please contact the manufacturer directly who may be able to provide a replacement

If you bought your Hive Active Heating with self-installation:

  1.  

    you have 14 days to return it via the same method you purchased it

  2.  

    if your smart thermostat is faulty, please contact the manufacturer directly who may be able to provide a replacement
