U24 is a free offer for Orange pay monthly and pay as you go customers under the age of 24.

In addition to any minutes, texts or data you already get with your plan, you get:

  1. an extra 1GB of free mobile internet

  2. unlimited UK calls and texts to anyone on Orange, T-Mobile or EE

Please note: you can check if your numbers are on the Orange or T-Mobile network on the U24 app.

If you're a pay monthly customer, you just need to be on a plan costing £15 or more per month.

Or, if you're a pay as you go customer, you just need to top up at least £10 each month.

U24 will last for two years, regardless of how old you are when you take it.

So, if you're 23 years and 11 months old when you take up the offer, it'll last until you're 25 years and 11 months old.

You just need to prove you're under 24 years of age.
 
If you're an existing Orange customer, you can go to any EE retail store with one of the listed proofs of ID and they'll get U24 added.

No problem. If you're not the account holder, but are under 24 years old and have your own separate phone, you can still take advantage of U24. You need to be a named user on the account for your phone.

  1.  

    if you're a named user on the account, go to an EE store with one of the listed proofs of ID and they'll get it added

  2.  

    if you're under 16, you'll need to take the account holder along with you and you'll both need proof of ID from the list below

For the account holder:

For the named phone user:
  1. passport

  3. PASS proof-of-age card (CitizenCard, Validate UK card, Young Scot, ONE-ID4U)

Once you've signed up to U24, it'll be added to your account within five days. You can check if it's added by logging in to My EE. Until then your allowance will be reduced or you’ll be charged.

What is the U24 app?

What is the U24 app?

The app will check the numbers on your phone to see which ones are on either Orange or T-Mobile. It'll then create a copy of your phonebook within the app and mark all those numbers that are on Orange or T-Mobile with an orange or pink symbol. It's available to download on Android, BlackBerry and Apple iOS.

Downloading the app

To get the app:

Please note: you'll need a mobile internet or WiFi connection.

The U24 app is also available for download in the following places by searching Orange U24 in:

  1. the App Store on an iPhone

  2. App World on a BlackBerry

  3. Google Play on an Android smartphone

Using the app

You can use the app to check your contacts every seven days. So, from the first time you check your phonebook, you'll need to wait seven days before you can do it again. 

You'll see an arrow in the bottom right-hand corner of the contacts page when you can next do this, or you’ll get a message when you open the app telling you that you’re now able to check.
