Does Siri use data?

Yes, Siri requires a data connection to function. Siri sends requests to Apple servers to ensure proper processing. Siri will work when connected to either mobile data or Wi-Fi.

How to turn on Siri:

  1. To turn on Siri, from the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap Siri.
  4. Ensure that the Siri off/on slider is set to ON.

Siri is now enabled.
