- Press Settings.
- Press Messages.
- Press the indicator next to "iMessage" to turn on the function.
- Press the indicator next to "Send as SMS" to turn the function on or off.
- Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
- Press the message icon.
- Press the new message icon.
- Press To and key in the first letters of the recipient's name.
- Press the required contact.
- If the recipient can receive iMessages, iMessage is displayed in the text input field.
- Press the text input field and key in the required text.
- Press the send icon.
- You can also send pictures, video clips, audio files and different effects in your iMessage. Follow the instructions on the screen to send your iMessage with the required content.
- Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
- Press Settings.
- Press Messages.
- Press the indicator next to "iMessage" to turn on the function.
- Press the indicator next to "Send as SMS" to turn the function on or off.
- Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
- Press Settings.
- Press General.
- Press Date & Time.
- Press the indicator next to "Set Automatically" to turn on the function.
- Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
It's not possible to send and receive iMessages
If you can't send and receive iMessages, there may be several causes of the problem.
It's important to find out if you can make a call. If you can't make a call, you need to solve this problem first. When the problem is solved, you will most likely also be able to send and receive iMessages.
