Take or view a picture

Here's how to take or view pictures on your BlackBerry Curve 8520.

Take a picture

Follow these instructions to take pictures.

  1. Find Camera
    Press the Menu key
    Scroll to Camera and press the Navigation key

  2. Take a picture
    The display shows what the camera lens is pointing at
    Point the camera lens at the required object
    Use the Navigation key to zoom in or out
    Press the Navigation key to take the picture
    The picture is displayed
    Press the Return key to return to the camera

  3. Exit
    Press Disconnect to return to stand-by mode.

View a picture

Follow these instructions to see the pictures you have taken.

  1. Find Pictures
    Press the Menu key
    Scroll to Media and press the Navigation key
    Scroll to Pictures and press the Navigation key

  2. Choose option
    Choose one of the following options:
    View pictures one by one, go to a
    View pictures as a slide show, go to b

    a) View pictures one by one
    Highlight the required folder and press the Navigation key
    If required, highlight a subfolder and press the Navigation key
    Highlight the required picture and press the Navigation key
    The picture is displayed in full size

    b) View pictures as a slide show
    Highlight the required folder and press the Navigation key
    If required, highlight a subfolder and press the Navigation key
    Press the Menu key
    Scroll to View Slide Show and press the Navigation key
    The pictures are displayed one by one

  3. Exit
    Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.
