Limit the bandwidth

If you want to limit the amount of bandwidth available to SSID2, you can limit the downstream and upstream connection speed. In the example below, we've limited the downstream to 1024kbps and the upstream to 512kbps.

  1. Select Bandwidth Control from the wireless menu

  2. Under Bandwidth Control (2.4GHz), go to the SSID No. that you want to limit data for - in the example below this is SSID2
  3. Click to tick Enable in the Upstream and Downstream field
  4. In the SSID2 upstream enter 512
  5. In the SSID2 downstream Kbytes/sec field enter 1024

  6. Repeat these steps for Bandwidth Control (5GHz)
  7. Click SAVE SETTINGS
  8. Your new settings will be applied
