Follow these instructions to set up a GPRS data connection for picture messaging.
1. Find Personal config. sett.
- Press the Navigation key to access the main menu
- Scroll to Settings and press the Navigation key
- Scroll to Configuration and press the Navigation key
- Scroll to Personal config. sett. and press the Navigation key
2. Create new or edit existing data connection
- If no data connections have been created:
- Press the Navigation key
- Scroll to Multimedia msg. and press the Navigation key
- If data connections have been created already:
- Press Options
- Scroll to Add new and press the Navigation key
- Scroll to Multimedia msg. and press the Navigation key
- If you want to edit an existing data connection:
- Highlight the required data connection and press the Navigation key
3. Enter name
- Scroll to Account name and press the Navigation key
- Key in Picture Message and press the Navigation key
4. Enter picture messaging server
- Scroll to Server address and press the Navigation key
- Key in http://mms and press the Navigation key
5. Deactivate preferred access point
- Highlight Use pref. access pt. and press the Navigation key
- Highlight No and press the Navigation key
- If required, press the Navigation key to accept
6. Enable proxy
- Scroll to Access point settings and press the Navigation key
- Scroll to Proxy and press the Navigation key
- Highlight Enable and press the Navigation key
7. Enter IP address
- Highlight Proxy address and press the Navigation key
- Key in 149.254.201.135 and press the Navigation key
8. Enter port
- Scroll to Proxy port and press the Navigation key
- Key in 8080 and press the Navigation key
9. Begin editing bearer settings
- Scroll to Bearer settings and press the Navigation key
10. Enter APN name
- Scroll to Packet data acc. pt. and press the Navigation key
- Press Clear to clear the input field
- Key in eezone and press the Navigation key
11. Select network type
- Scroll to Network type and press the Navigation key
- Highlight IPv4 or IPv6 and press the Navigation key
12. Select authentication type
- Scroll to Authentication type and press the Navigation key
- Highlight Normal and press the Navigation key
13. Enter username
- Scroll to User name and press the Navigation key
- Key in eesecure and press the Navigation key
14. Enter password
- Scroll to Password and press the Navigation key
- Key in one2one and press the Navigation key
- Key in one2one again and press the Navigation key to confirm
15. Save and exit
- Press Disconnect to save the settings and return to stand-by mode
