Why have I been charged for calls in a country I haven't visited?

This can happen if you get very close to the border of another country that isn’t in the EU, as you can pick up signal from cross-border operators.

To counter a double charge, make sure you’re on the right operator in your device settings.

If you want to discuss your roaming charges, you can:
