Your EE TV box is on.

No light – deep sleep or off

Your EE TV box may be in deep sleep mode if you've not used it for a while, or may not be plugged in.

  1.  

    press the power button on your remote control – after a minute or so your EE TV will come back to life

  2.  

    check your power cable is plugged securely into your EE TV box

  3.  

    check your power socket is turned on and working – try plugging something else in

If you're using Replay and Restart on your EE TV, it won't go into deep sleep.

Red light – standby

Red light – standby

Press the standby button on your remote to wake it up. If the red light remains:

  1.  

    try pointing your remote directly at your EE TV box or move a bit closer

  2.  

    check there’s nothing in-between your remote and EE TV box

  3.  

    turn your EE TV box off at the mains, wait 30 seconds, turn it back on and try using your remote again

  4.  

    check your batteries haven't gone flat – try new ones

Flashing green light

Flashing green light

This shows your EE TV is starting up. It will turn solid green after 30 seconds. If it continues to flash, your set top box may be trying to update firmware. Leave it for 30 minutes.
