iPhone 4 - Activate or deactivate data roaming

You can choose whether you want to allow roaming when using data connections.

If you deactivate roaming, you cannot use functions that use Internet if you are out of range of your home network. If you activate roaming, the phone automatically finds another network when necessary. This ensures that you can always use the functions. Please note that it costs more to use the phone in roaming.

Follow these instructions to activate or deactivate data roaming on your Apple iPhone 4.

  1. Find Network
    Press Settings
    Press General
    Press Network

  2. Activate or deactivate
Press the indicator next to Data Roaming
Depending on the current setting, the function is activated or deactivated

  3. Exit
Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
