FAQs

The Flymo EasiLife GO 400 is a compact, fully automatic robotic lawnmower built for small to medium gardens of up to 400m². Once the perimeter boundary wire is installed, it works autonomously, mowing, navigating obstacles and returning to its charging station on its own, so you never need to push a mower again. It’s designed to be as approachable as possible, with a simple Push & Go interface that gets it working without complex programming. The Bluetooth app provides full access to extended settings, schedules and troubleshooting from your smartphone.

The EasiLife GO 400 uses a boundary perimeter wire installed around the edge of your lawn to define the cutting area; the mower always stays within this wire. An Intelligent Guide Wire feature allows you to programme multiple start points so the mower can efficiently reach different areas of lawn, and it guides the mower back to its charging station without leaving visible track marks on the grass. The PassageSense function enables the mower to navigate and cut through narrow passages as tight as 60cm wide, making it suitable for gardens with connecting sections or tight corners between borders.

Yes. The EasiLife GO 400 is designed to operate in a range of weather conditions, including light rain. 2 intelligent sensor systems further refine when it mows: LawnSense detects the rate of grass growth and automatically adjusts the mowing schedule, mowing more frequently when the lawn grows fast and less often when growth slows. FrostSense detects low temperatures that could damage your lawn and prevents the mower from operating in frosty conditions. Together, these features mean the EasiLife GO 400 looks after your lawn intelligently throughout the seasons without you needing to manually intervene. How loud is the Flymo EasiLife GO 400 and will it disturb neighbours?

What is the cutting setup on the EasiLife GO 400, how does it cut and what happens to the clippings?

How do you control and schedule the Flymo EasiLife GO 400?

Safety is a core part of the EasiLife GO 400’s design. The mower includes lift and tilt sensors. If the mower is picked up or tilted beyond a safe angle, the blades stop immediately. A PIN code lock means the mower won’t operate if it’s moved without authorisation, reducing the risk of theft and preventing accidental activation. The razor blades are recessed within the mower’s body rather than exposed at the edges, providing additional protection. The mower also operates within the boundary wire at all times, so it cannot stray into flower beds or onto hard surfaces.

The EasiLife GO 400 handles slopes of up to 14°. This covers most typical garden gradients, a gentle slope or a lawn that’s not perfectly level without difficulty. However, for gardens with steeper terrain or significantly uneven ground, the mower may struggle to maintain consistent traction and coverage. If your garden has a mix of flat and moderately sloped sections, the EasiLife GO 400 will typically cope well. For more demanding slopes beyond 14°, Flymo’s higher-capacity models or alternative robotic mowers designed specifically for hilly terrain would be a better fit. How long does the battery last and how quickly does the EasiLife GO 400 recharge?

How does the Flymo EasiLife GO 400 compare to the Flymo UltraLife 800?
