In more detail

Bring vibrant QLED colour and AI-powered picture quality to your living room with the Hisense E7STUK 55" QLED 4K AI Smart TV, featuring over a billion shades of colour, Dolby Vision IQ that adapts to your room's lighting and Freely built in for free live TV over the internet. With Game Mode Plus, Dolby Atmos and the VIDAA smart platform, it covers films, sport, gaming and everyday viewing with confidence.

Over a billion shades of vivid colour

See every shade the way it was meant to look, with Hi-QLED Colour technology using quantum dots to deliver over a billion colours with improved brightness and accuracy. The 5000:1 contrast ratio produces deep blacks and bright whites, so everything from nature documentaries to night-time cityscapes looks rich and full of depth.

Picture that adapts to your room automatically

Stop fiddling with settings and let the TV handle it, with Dolby Vision IQ using a built-in light sensor to adjust brightness, contrast and colour based on your room's ambient lighting. Whether you're watching in a sunlit living room or a darkened cinema room, the picture always looks balanced and detailed without manual tweaks.

Smoother motion for sport and action

Keep up with fast-moving action without the blur, with AI Smooth Motion using MEMC technology to insert additional frames and reduce judder. The AI processor intelligently analyses the content and applies the right level of enhancement, so you get smooth action without the artificial "soap opera effect" that some motion processing can create.

Films exactly as the director intended

Switch on Filmmaker Mode and see content the way it was meant to be seen, with motion smoothing and artificial processing disabled to preserve the original frame rates, aspect ratios and colours. It's a simple toggle that gives you a more authentic, cinema-like experience at home, especially for films mastered with specific creative intentions.

Game Mode Plus for responsive play

Drop into your games with minimal lag, with Game Mode Plus combining ALLM, VRR at 60Hz and support for Dolby Vision Gaming and HDR10+ Gaming. ALLM automatically switches to game mode when a console is detected, and the 8ms panel response time keeps motion crisp during fast-paced gameplay on PS5, Xbox Series X or PC.

Free live TV and all your streaming apps

Watch live TV channels over the internet without an aerial or satellite dish, with Freely built in for free live and on-demand content from BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5. The VIDAA smart platform keeps Netflix, Disney+, YouTube and Prime Video within easy reach, and AirPlay 2 lets you stream straight from your Apple devices.

Room-filling sound with Dolby Atmos

Hear immersive, cinematic sound that moves around you, with Dolby Atmos support delivering room-filling audio from the built-in speaker system. When you want to step things up, HDMI eARC and optical digital outputs make it straightforward to connect a soundbar or AV system for an upgraded audio experience.

FAQs

The Hisense 55E7STUK is a 55" QLED 4K Ultra HD AI Smart TV that combines vibrant QLED colour with smart features and AI-powered picture enhancement. It uses Hi-QLED Colour technology for over a billion shades of vivid colour, and runs on the VIDAA Smart OS, giving you access to popular streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, Prime Video and Freely. With Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos and a range of gaming features, it's designed to deliver an immersive viewing experience for films, shows and gameplay.

The 55E7STUK features a QLED panel with 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160), delivering sharp detail and vibrant colours. It supports multiple HDR formats including HDR10, HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive, HLG and Dolby Vision IQ, which automatically adjusts the picture based on the lighting in your room. The AI 4K Upscaler enhances lower-resolution content to near-4K quality, while AI Smooth Motion (MEMC) keeps fast-moving scenes smooth and clear. The panel has a 5000:1 contrast ratio and a 178° viewing angle.

The TV runs on Hisense's VIDAA Smart OS, which provides fast, easy access to a wide range of streaming apps. You'll find Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, Prime Video and Freely built in, along with other popular apps. Freely gives you access to live TV channels and catch-up content over the internet, so you don't need an aerial or satellite dish. The TV also supports voice control, letting you search for content and control settings using your voice.

Yes, the 55E7STUK includes Game Mode Plus, which optimises the TV for gaming by reducing input lag and enhancing responsiveness. It supports Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), which automatically switches the TV to game mode when a console is detected, and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) at 60Hz, which reduces screen tearing and stuttering. The TV also supports Dolby Vision Gaming and HDR10+ Gaming, bringing dynamic HDR to compatible games. The panel response time is 8ms, keeping motion crisp during fast-paced gameplay.

The 55E7STUK supports a comprehensive range of HDR formats, including HDR10, HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive, HLG and Dolby Vision IQ. Dolby Vision IQ is particularly useful as it uses a light sensor to adjust the picture settings based on the ambient lighting in your room, ensuring you always get the best possible image. This wide HDR support means the TV can display content exactly as the filmmaker intended, regardless of which HDR format the content uses.

The TV features Dolby Atmos support, delivering immersive, room-filling sound that moves around you for a more cinematic experience. The built-in speaker system provides clear dialogue and dynamic sound for everyday viewing. For an even better audio experience, you can connect a soundbar or AV system using the HDMI eARC or optical digital outputs, giving you flexibility to upgrade your sound setup.

The 55E7STUK offers 3 HDMI ports, including one with eARC for connecting audio systems, and 2 USB ports for playing media from external drives. It also has an Ethernet port for wired internet, built-in WiFi for wireless connectivity, and Bluetooth for connecting wireless headphones or speakers. The TV includes satellite and aerial connections for receiving broadcast TV, and supports AirPlay 2 for streaming from Apple devices.

Filmmaker Mode is a picture setting that displays content exactly as the filmmaker intended, with the original frame rates, aspect ratios and colours preserved. When you activate Filmmaker Mode, the TV disables motion smoothing and other processing effects that can make films look unnatural. This ensures you get an authentic, cinema-like viewing experience at home, preserving the artistic vision of the content creators.

AI Smooth Motion uses MEMC (Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation) technology to reduce motion blur and judder in fast-moving scenes. It works by inserting additional frames between the original frames, creating smoother motion for sports, action films and gaming. The AI element means the TV intelligently analyses the content and applies the right level of motion enhancement, so you get smooth action without the artificial "soap opera effect" that some motion processing can create.

Freely is a free-to-view service built into the TV that gives you access to live TV channels and catch-up content over the internet. You can watch live channels from BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5, as well as access their catch-up apps, all through a single interface. Freely also lets you pause live TV and restart programmes on certain channels. All you need is an internet connection, so there's no need for an aerial or satellite dish, making it ideal for households that want free TV without the installation hassle.
