Launched in June 2026 in partnership with EssilorLuxottica, they bring genuine smart features to a clean, timeless rectangular frame that works as well on a commute as it does on a weekend away.

At EE the Meta Glasses Adventurer AI Glasses are available in 4 versions, each offering a different frame colour and lens type to suit different needs and budgets. Black and Brown (£269) and Havana and Brown (£269) both feature warm brown-tinted lenses for everyday wear in bright conditions. The Black and Gray Pol (£299) adds polarised grey lenses for enhanced glare reduction, making it ideal for driving or time near water. The Black and Gray Tr (£339) features Transitions photochromic lenses that automatically darken in sunlight and return to clear indoors. All versions share the same rectangular frame shape and smart tech inside.

There are 3 distinct lens types available across the Meta Glasses Adventurer AI Glasses range. Standard tinted lenses (Brown) are fixed-tint sunglasses lenses, great for consistently sunny days. Polarised lenses (Grey Pol) contain a special filter that blocks horizontal glare reflected off roads, water or wet surfaces, making them particularly useful for driving or outdoor sport. Transitions lenses (Grey Tr) are photochromic, they start clear indoors and automatically darken when exposed to UV light outdoors, then return to clear inside. Transitions give you the most flexibility as a single pair that adapts to every environment, though they come at a higher price point of £339 compared to £269 for standard tinted lenses.

The Meta Glasses Adventurer AI Glasses feature a 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 100° field of view, so you can capture what you’re seeing naturally without framing a shot on a phone screen. It records video at up to 3K resolution at 30fps, or 1080p at 60fps for smoother motion. You can take photos and videos entirely hands-free using voice commands or the dedicated Action Button on the right arm. The camera also supports hyperlapse and slow-motion modes and 32GB of built-in storage means you can save over 1,000 photos or more than 100 30-second videos before syncing to your phone.

Meta AI is built in and accessible via the “Hey Meta” voice command or the physical Action Button on the right arm of the glasses. Powered by the Muse Spark engine, it can answer real-time questions about what you’re looking at using the camera, provide turn-by-turn navigation, identify songs with music match, translate conversations across more than 20 languages live and help you send messages or make calls hands-free. Because it works through your voice, you stay fully present in the moment, no need to look at a screen.
