Get a PAC code

You get your PAC from customer services. It's sent by text and is valid for 30 days.

How to request a PAC

If you decide to leave EE, you need to request your PAC at the same time you give us notice that you're leaving.

Just call customer services on 150 from your EE phone, 07953 966 250 from any other phone or +447953 966 250 from abroad.

If you're a pay monthly customer there's no charge for a PAC code but, if you're still in contract, some charges may be applied. Any disconnection requires 30 days' notice.

How will I receive my PAC?

We'll send out the PAC by text within two hours. Once you've received your PAC it's up to you to provide the code to your new network. They will then be able to request the number to be transferred.

How long does it take?

Your new provider should be able to transfer your number the next working day, but there's no porting at weekends or on English Bank Holidays.

Here's a guide to help you work out when your number will transfer depending on which day you call:

Call before 5.30pm

Tuesday > Wednesday

Wednesday > Thursday

Thursday > Friday

Friday > Monday

Saturday > Tuesday

Sunday > Tuesday
